Board of Education Election Results
There were eight candidates running for the four open seats on the Akron Board of Education in this year's November 4 general election.
The only incumbent to be re-elected was Rev. Gregory Harrison.
Newly-elected members to the Baord are, in descending order of votes received, Phil Montgomery, Karmaya Kelly, and Nathan Jarosz.

The newly-elected members of the Board of Education were
sworn into
office on Monday, January 5.
1/12/26 UPDATE:
At the first Board
meeting
of the new year on January 12, new members were sworn in, officers were elected, and committee assignments made.
